Last weekend I decided to take some pictures of the inside of my refrigerator so people could check out how I stock it up.
It was an honest look at how eat.
You know, you can always tell a person by how and what they keep in their refrigerator!
Mine is always anally organized with a full stock of eggs and vodka. I wonder what that says about me!
Everything was going great until I came across THIS!!
What the HELL was a Hungry-Man frozen dinner doing in MY freezer!! I felt it was tainting my organic grass fed beef and laughing at my free range chickens!
None the less, it was a horrible moment. Until I realized that I put in there!
Yup, that’s right, that shit was mine!! Crazy right?
Several months prior, I was asked to do a presentation about the harmful effects of processed foods. The Hungry Man dinner was a prop to show how hideous the chemicals placed in this “food” actually is to our bodies.
I don’t know if you can see this by check out this ingredient list!
It’s a complete science experiment!
There is NOTHING appetizing, healthy, or beneficial about allowing these chemicals to enter your mouth and eventually grow into your body!
I mean do you want Sodium Bicarbonate to eventually grow into your cells which will be used to make up your heart??
NAH!! You’re smarter then that!
The Health Code Rule of Thumb is:
1. If it’s in the house, you’re going to eat it! – So stock your house with LOVING, HEALHY foods that will nourish your body and spirit. Hungry Man is NOT a LOVING food (check out the video below for more on that).
2. If the ingredient list reads like a novel, run away! – Keeping your food to as CLOSE to nature as possible, meaning the LESS ingredients the better, is the NUMBER 1 way to improve your health!
3. Check out this video I made about Hateful vs Loving foods - It’s the simplest way to view your food and it’s bound to make making healthier choices a whole lot easier!
So go and take a picture of the inside of your refridgerator after you give it a make over and post if on my facebook page.
I’d love to see what you’ve got!
Make me proud!
